Plaice is a popular flatfish known for its delicate flavour, distinctive appearance its mild, sweet flavour and tender, white flesh. It can be prepared in various ways, including grilling, baking, frying, and poaching. Popular dishes include plaice fillets, breaded and fried plaice.
We recommend fresh fish to be consumed straight away, or within 3 days. Store in your refrigerator and pack with ice if possible. To freeze: place the fish straight in the freezer upon delivery and consume within 3 months.
Due to product availability and market conditions we may send Frozen Fish. This product may be dispatched frozen and begin to Thaw in transit, Although all our orders are packed properly we can not guarantee items will be fully frozen upon delivery. Therefore might not be suitable for home freezing.
